Recent activities in this sector have included:
Motor Factor - our clients were very sensitive to any marketing of their company for sale, feeling that it could affect the goodwill of their business. They provided a contact list of potential buyers which ultimately proved fruitless. However by tapping into our professional contacts within the M & A sector we were able to find a buyer representing a national company who acquired the company and the freehold property in an all-cash deal.
Architectural Practice - with offices in London and the Middle East our client has been approached by a larger firm with a view to acquisition. Following a valuation and appraisal of the business, talks are now ongoing to negotiate a suitable merger or acquisition.
MoT Garage - the owner had been in discussion with one of his business contacts and requested a valuation, sale negotiation and preparation of Heads of Terms. The sale/purchase was successfuly negotiated and concluded to everyone's satisfaction.
Door Supplier/Installer - Owner/Director wishing to emigrate. He had agreed the sale of his company, in principle, to one of his suppliers. We were involved in the face-to-face sale and purchase negotiations and drew up a detailed Heads of Terms prior to the sale being presented to solicitors for contract.
Holiday Company. An off-market sale achieved by discretely approaching a selective list of pre-screened competitors. Three competing offers were received and the sale successfully concluded to enable the retirement of the directors.
