This is the proposed sale of a successful business which provides tree surgery and arboricultural services to both domestic and commercial customers throughout Southern England, including the Home Counties and London.    
 
The range of commercial customers varies and may include housing associations, property and facilities management companies and outsourced service providers. 
 
The work is regular in nature, with many of the commercial customers using the company’s services all year round.  Typically the workflow is booked up to 12 weeks in advance. 
 
Staff:  With a good level of second-tier management supporting the directors there are 9 full-time and 1 part-time employees and a flexible network of sub-contractors.  Average length of service is c. 8 years.
 
Assets/Stock:  All arboricultural equipment and 7 vehicles (with one exception) are owned outright and regularly serviced or replaced when necessary.  Major access equipment is hired as and when required. 
 
Reason for sale: The sellers anticipate a comprehensive handover period, after which they will be pursuing an active retirement.
